Dremel Saw Max and Trojan Tools for Father’s Day: Giveaway!

Aug 23

** This giveaway has now closed. Congratulations to the lucky winner, Effie B! **

So far we have looked at gifts for Dad’s that want to experience an adventure, gifts that will become treasured keepsakes, gifts to remind us of how much we love our Dads and Grandads, and today we are looking at gifts for the Handyman Dad!

My hubby is a handyman through and through; born with a hammer in his hand I reckon! He has always loved tinkering in his shed, and has saved us a fortune by being able to do little (and big!) things around the house. In fact he loved it so much that just a few years ago, I convinced him to quit his job and make a business out of his handyman ways… so he did!

The Dremel Saw Max has been a welcome addition to his tool collection. The Dremel Saw-Max can cut through virtually any material including wood, plastic, metal, fibreglass, plasterboard, brick and tile, making it perfect for almost any job. It is also one third of the size and weight of a regular circular saw, making it even easier to use, as it can be used virtually anywhere.

The Dremel Saw Max comes with 4 cutting wheels which can be used for straight cuts, flush cuts or plunge cuts to wood, metal, tile, plasterboard, plastic, and masonry.

Daddy Smiles used it recently for cutting some tiles to be used in a bathroom repair. He loved how light it was, and said it was very easy to hold.

He also appreciated the depth guide as it ensured a quick, but more importantly, accurate cut.

For those jobs which can be particularly dusty, a dust port adapter is included which is great for enclosed spaces, or when people have sensitivities to dust.

The Kit Includes

Dremel Saw-Max SM20 tool• TRSM810 Dust Port Adapter• DSM500 Multi-Purpose Carbide Wheel-Abrasive cutting wheel with Carbide Grit which is intended to cut wood & other soft materials• DSM510 Metal Cut-Off Wheel-Reinforced Type 1 Abrasive cut-off wheel which is intended to cut a variety of materials such as metal & plastic • DSM520 Masonry Cut-Off Wheel -Reinforced Type 1 Abrasive cut-off wheel which is intended to make sore cuts in masonry & stone• DSM540 Tile Diamond Wheel -Diamond abrasive wheel  which is intended to make cuts in hard materials such as marble, concrete, brick, porcelain & tile.• Storage Case • Owner’s Manual

The Dremel Saw Max retails for RRP$169.

My other gift idea which is a must have for every household is a complete and functional toolbox! Trojan Tools have put together their Top Ten Tools  including Combination Square, Tape Measure, Allen Key Set, Philips Head,Screwdriver, Claw Hammer, Wood Chisel, Utility Knife with retractable blade, Stubby Wrench, Combination Pliers. This is a fantastic starters Tool Box that allows you to do all the basic jobs around the house. And with the sturdy Trojan Box, there is plenty of room to add other tools as you collect them over time.

The Trojan tools and toolbox retail for RRP$140.

Hubby never seems to have the tool needed for the job (maybe this is just an excuse! LOL) Certainly this prize would stop that line next time and we might get a few more jobs done around the house.
