I love sending Miss 4 with a selection of goodies at lunch, some carrot sticks, cheese, yoghurt, grapes, a healthy sandwich and a banana!
Big fans of chicken wraps here with lots of lettuce and grated carrot .
My girls favourite yummy lunchbox snack is homemade muffins.
Chicken sandwich and fruit
I am going to try fruity homemade muffins as our son refuses to eat any fruit unless it’s a banana lol I am determined to get him eating fruit somehow!!!
Love to randomly put a little note in lunch bag.
Home made goodies, that the kids think are treats but are actually healthy, like my sultana and grated carrot slice which they have for recess.
I make a few things and then freeze them for healthy lunches and picnics. Some ideas include making healthy quiches with a wholemeal bread base, egg, ham and yoghurt – very easy to make. I also make a few types of muffins with fruit. Other fresh ideas include fruit kebabs (any fruit in season) and vegetable kebabs (with cherry tomato, bocconcini, basil and cucumber are also yummy.
we have a food dehydrator so dry our own banana., apple and pear. They last the day in a lunchbox better than a fresh chopped pear or Apple
Home-made cheesy-mite scrolls, mini quiches & fruit piklets
Leftovers if they travel well!! try to have some cold meat in the fridge for sandwiches (ham is really yum this time of year). I like to make choc chip cookies and the occaisional cake when I find the time (hubby ends up just taking these often for lunch). My bub too little at the moment for packed lunch but will be starting soon.
my Bub is not born yet, but for me and my Hubby we love a good old fashioned Picnic in the park, sandwiches, fruit and some juice. Maybe some dips with creackers and cheese.
My ‘trick’ to make anything in the lunchbox yummy is to put it in a wrap. If it’s in between two pieces of bread, it comes home. If it’s in a wrap, I get complimented for a yummy lunch by my 4yo when he gets home from Kindy!
I love packing a few different fresh fruit, some cheese and cold meat for lunch. Yum!!!

If I give them variety they eat it: so Salmon Sushi Rolls or a slice of Ham & Vegetable Pasta Bake are two favourites lately. Fritters & muffins are always great too.
I love packing home made goodness that my little man has helped me make. He enjoys cooking and helping and loves eating things that he’s made himself
I love packing my son snacks and lunch for the day!! He is happy as long as it is food which is eatable!! His lunch cooler bag even has his name on it!! Energy for his Jungle Boogie dance
I love freezing wraps so it’s nice by lunch time! Thx Nat
My husband loves cold quiche and wraps. The kids love snadwiches and fruit
hehe,,, well the best lunch box idea from my Twins point of view (they are only 2 yrs old).
Ham (ANY TYPE OF HAM as long as it is sloiced thinly!)
whole small banana
sliced pear
Apricots dice! hehe which reminds me i went shopping for 5 hrs and still forgot to buy their fave snaCK!!! this wqould be fantastic to put in your snack pouches! oh to win would be fantastic. ehehehe, hae had my eye of 4myEarth products bt never had the courage to ask hubby if i can buy as i m sure his reaction is GO and use old takeaway congainers(plastic again!) i hate plastic!
Sandwich wraps to show off to all the other kids!
Let them help making lunch, make it fun then put in a surprise.
A selection of home made yummies includiing yogurt, biscuits, savory muffins, pizza scrolls, fresh fruit, etc. YUMMO!
For myself plain old carrot sticks rock, for my son it’s currently banana, mango or peach. When he’s a little older I’d love to start doing some homemade savoury muffins. Yum!
Healthy dried fruit cake slices and lots of fruit
