Introducing Smiles Around The World! I Need Your Help!

I once watched an episode of Oprah where she travelled the world, and introduced us to women and mothers from all different countries. In these short interviews, I was fascinated by the fact that no matter how different our lives seemed, there were also some very key issues that joined the collective global community.

Very often we held the same fears, we celebrated the same joys, and we loved our family beyond measure.

So I am excited to introduce the Smiles Around The World series of blog posts!!

While most of our readers are from Australia, there are also readers from many other countries (I know because Google Stats tell me so lol). Whilst we all have different lifestyles, different cultures, and different ways of life, we also have so much in common.

But this isn’t just about overseas readers – Smiles Around The World is about EVERYONE!!! If you live in Australia, and are fortunate to live a life that is a little different to the norm, then I would love to hear from you! You may live on an island, or a cattle station, or you maybe a Defence family, or live near the mines. You might choose to homeschool your children, or you may be an expat living abroad! City or country, land or sea, Australia or across the Globe – I want to hear your stories!

If you are chosen to participate (and I am hoping we can include everyone who is interested!), you will be asked to answer a few short questions, tell us a little about your family and your location, and anything else that we might find interesting. I’d also love  you to share 3 or 4 photos showing your life – maybe the local shops, or some landmarks, or even your backyard! (It’s up to you whether to share a photo of yourself and/or your children).
