Brauer Naturals Baby Range – Review and Giveaway
Sep 14
*** This giveaway has now ended. Congratulations to the winner – Amber Boyce! ***
As a Mum, I am now very conscious of the products (and their ingredients) that I choose for our family, particularly when it comes to the children. I know how very sensitive their skin is, and I just can’t afford to put anything on their skin which will irritate them or cause an eczema flare-up.
A few months ago I shared with you my love of the famous Brauer Paw Paw Ointment. And now the team at Brauer have released a brand new range of Naturals Baby skin care. There are currently six products in the range: Bath & Body Wash, Shampoo, Sleepytime Bath, Massage Oil, Soft Skin Lotion and Nappy Balm.
The first one I tried was the one I had pinned all my hopes on. Lucy had quite a bad little spot of nappy rash. I found that the usual medicated cream wasn’t working, and I was worried that I would have to resort to a steroid cream. She would cry “Ow ow ow” at each nappy change. As I smoothed on the Brauer Nappy Balm I noticed how thick it was, and it covered the sore spot without melting away. But more importantly, Lucy signed to me “No more Ow…. Gone!”. Aside from a sudden attack of the guilts about the pain that I had previously been putting her through, I was glad to have found something that she was happy for me to apply (and that wasn’t full of nasty chemicals). After just a few applications, the sore had healed.

The Bath & Body Wash is an essential for our bathroom. We have been soap-free for years and I love how gentle it is on their skin. It is packed with paw paw, shea butter, honey & carrot oil so soothes sensitive skin at the sametime. And if you’ve had a looooong day and need to restore some peace in your house, then the Sleepytime Bath has the peaceful aromatherapy oils of ylang-ylang, chamomile and lavender to encourage sweet, deep sleep.
The Soft Skin Lotion was much milkier than I expected. It absorbed quickly into Lucy’s skin and would be lovely to use for a light baby massage after a warm bath. For a slightly more intense massage, there is the Massage Oil which contains coconut oil, almond oil, honey and paw paw to nourish baby’s skin (or you could actually steal it for yourself and use it for those poor dry hands which are still recovering from winter!).
So while Mummy was so happy with all this natural, yummy-smelling goodness, Lucy had just one thing on her mind…ducks!
Each product in the Brauer Naturals Baby range comes with it’s very own collector duck!! They are seriously cute! (Quiet note to Brauer – if you keep bringing these ducks out in new designs, then I am totally going to get hooked on collecting them all!!).
Lucy had so many little games going on her with her duckies, and I even found one in her cot the other morning (still have no idea how she snuck it in!)
Would you like the chance to win the full range of Brauer Naturals Baby, valued at $68.94 (complete with designer ducks!!)?
It’s easy peasy to enter by following the details in the Rafflecopter, including leaving a comment as to which of these products you would most like to get your hands on and why. Australian residents only please, and all entries must be received by midnight, Thursday 20th September, 2012.
