Brauer Paw Paw Ointment – A Review and Giveaway
Mar 06
As you may know, our family is blessed with rather special skin! It tends to be sensitive to lots of products, and there are issues with eczema and dermatitis. So I am very conscious of buying products that are naturally derived and produced locally.
One of the very first products that was recommended to me when I had my first baby was Paw Paw ointment. I read up on the benefits of the Paw Paw and was amazed at the healing properties that it offered. It can be used by everyone in the family, and is fantastic on dry, cracked skin. (Cracked nipples anyone??)
I was fortunate enough to be able to spend some time with the team from Brauer to learn more about their Paw Paw Ointment. I was thrilled to hear that their ointment is an ALL natural formulation, contains no Petrochemicals, and has more than double the Paw Paw content of the leading brand. Combined with Shea Butter, Honey, Vitamin E and Grapeseed Oil, the Brauer Paw Paw ointment is chock full of goodness!
We have already used it for nappy rash, mozzie bites, a grazed knee, and dry lips!
The Paw Paw Ointment comes in three shapes and sizes – a handy tube for the handbag, a generous tub for the nursery, and a gorgeous lip butter tin (can’t tell you how much I love this tin!).
Each Brauer Paw Paw product has a lovely fresh and fruity smell. It’s not as thick and sticky as some of the other brands – it actually feels quite light to touch and rubs in nicely into the skin.
Now I couldn’t rave about this product and not let some lucky person try it for themselves, could I! So the team at Brauer are giving one lucky reader the chance to win this AMAZING hamper!!
The hamper includes:
- Brauer Paw Paw tub
- Brauer Paw Paw tin
- Brauer Paw Paw tube
- Brauer 10 Day Detox
- Brauer Arnica cream
- Brauer Children’s Teething Relief

Love to try it this winter on dry lips!
Haved liked
Our family rangers from young to old,
and we all know how it feels to have sore aching bones
paw paw will fix all our problems
and everything else inbetween too
I would love to have some to try and have on hand for any thing that comes up with like nappy rash on my 9 week old baby or n e cuts or grazes or anu thing else my 9 year old little girl may have
I use it as a lip balm (and so does my 2 year old!)
Great for my contact dermatitis!
Have liked both FB pages!
We use this on everything from sore lips to sore bums (nappy Rash) Great all over moisturiser
dry cracked heels
I would use the ointment for my daughters lips, she gets a bad irritation around them. She is allergic to many types of lips balms that seem to aggravate the problem. I encourage her not to lick her lips but its hard for her when they feel so dry. This paw paw just may be the ointment she needs!
A treat that soothes and moisturize is Brauer Paw Paw ointment.
I would use brauer paw paw ointment on nappy rash.
I’d try it on these little heat rash/bumps that hubby gets.
Iam amazed at how fast it heals. Both my daughter had dry noses and we applied it about 4 times a day for 2 days. And our noses were back to normal. It worked much faster then any other dry skin treatment product.
I have liked the facebook pages!
We too are blessed with rather special skin in my family. I need to be very careful about the products I use on my husband and daughters skin in particular – which is why I only use natural products.
The lip balm looks like it would be perfect for my son who has a red ring around his mouth from licking it. I remember I used to do this as a child and it looks really painful. Would love to smother his mouth in Paw Paw Lip Butter over night to clear it all up.
Great for little boys bumps and bruises. AND mummys chapped lips. AND daddys ingrown toe.
I would use this for burns, bites, grazes and trust me their in a lot in my household between hubby, the 2 youngsters and myself.. :/
Would love to try this for all my sons rashes!
The question is more “what wouldn’t I use paw paw ointment on”. I use paw paw ointment for just about everything – nappy rash, cuts, scrapes, bites, sunburn, dry skin. I have never seen the Brauer paw paw ointment but I think I must try it out. I am most addicted to paw paw ointment for my lips – I have two in my handbag and one on my bedside table
To keep that nasty dry winter skin away from myself and the two little ones
My 12 year old daughter has terrible eczema on right arm and the side of her face. As you can imagine, she is self conscious of the redness on her face and is fed up having to explain it to everyone at school. I am not happy using cortisone on her face in particular. I have tried many so called “miracle” creams and would love to see if Brauer Paw Pa helps!
I definately would love to try the products on my sons nappy rash. The little man has had it for so long and I just want it to go away. Thankyou
My 2 year old has had excema since the age of 3 months and has had a particularly bad flare up these last few days. My 7 week old has come out with a rash on her face that looks red and sore, I would love to see if any of these products heal it up.
Oh and I would love to try the lip balm!
Thank you so much all the wonderful entries! I loved hearing about all the different uses for the Brauer Paw Paw ointment.

I have just recently tried this…saw a tube in my pharmacy….love it…I have all my life had skin issues….this is great….
Looked at another brand …ages ago…but it has petrolium jelly base…and I am allergic to that…
Only been using this brand for about 2 weeks and I am most happy with the results.
